"We had an emergency after a bedroom radiator fell off the wall. The radiator had been incorrectly installed, with screws that were too short , many years ago by a previous owner. The pipe work cracked and started to leak. 1st choice were round within the hour and stopped the leak. The engineer was very knowledgable and offered advice on how to proceed. It was not a straight forward repair, but I was very impressed with how he overcame problems draining the system and lifting the solid wood flooring. At all times he made sure that any mess was minimized and also that the job progressed without causing unnecessary work. He replaced radiator and fitted new pipe work the following morning. He was very professional throughout and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to friends in the area. "

"I recently had to call out 1st Choice to fix a leak in my flat that was dripping into shop downstairs, but was difficult to trace. I'd had two other plumbers in who managed to find it, but due to an electricity issue couldn't fix it. 1st Choice came out after hours on Friday and quickly found the leak and repaired it, then he found a further two leaks and repaired them. The shop was closed, but when they opened in the morning we found out there was still one leak, though much improved. 1st Choice popped out between jobs on the Saturday and liaised with the shop re what they were doing. They then came back on Monday and found the final and worst leak. Pressure back up, shop happy, heating back on. Thanks guys."

They responded rapidly and were able to effect repairs in a very short peroid of time at a very reasonable price. The guy was very professional, got to work right away and found the problem quickly (our downstairs neighbours were complaining of a leak in their bathroom, which turned out to be a faulty section of our bath's waste pipe). He bought parts from a nearby hardware shop, and fixed it then and there with minimum fuss. The price was reasonable, and he was upfront with it from the beginning.I would recommend 1st choice, and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again if the need arose."
